Nothing is more pleasant than listening to someone express so passionately feelings they have towards something they worked so hard to teach.
Sal Castro co-author of Blowout was at my school today giving a lecure on public schools and how there aren’t enough spanish surnames in our textbook besides Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. Wow they even named a school after him (Castro, that is) He was such a charismatic speaker, really makes one want to strive & push against all odds.
There were a few of his former students in the audience, all of whom looked up to him and recognized him as their role model.

I want to become a better person..everyones definiton is different but I just want to be a better me in every situation and aspect of my life. What steps could I take in actually making this desire reality
